i had the same problem, but instead of spray, i used NailPolish remover to clean the lens

Hi guys finally sony has f**k all the SP users they officially announced 4.3 jellybean is the last and final version for xperia SP.. All SP users was disappointed of u announcement.. Here after please don't foolish your customers.. They believed you but your are very very worst and fool the customers..

I bought SP couple of days ago and totally disappointed by the camera. I find the claims of Sony incorrect that the Phone shoots good photos in low light. Do you think I should clean the lens with discussed method? Or should get a refund and buy Xperia ZR?

Hey thamjid. Can you please tell, does the camera lens has any coating done on it? My pics are too grainy and noisy. I can't believe the pics posted by you are from Xperia SP!! Is this problem because of that lens coating?

Hi C3nA If you download Thamjid picture from Google Drive, you can read the EXIF data. It is true taken from Sony Xperia SP. First picture is taken with 3rd party program. The second picture is taken with Sony stock camera app.

If you zoom in, you will notice the noise. But the focus is sharp because his peel the coating from his lens.

My Xperia SP is doesn't have coating layer like Thamjid have.. So I decided to buy another lens from Witrig.com, there is tutorial how to change your lens. Very easy to do.

Hi netto. I can notice the noise when i zoom in. But still it looks ok. Even without zooming in, my pics are too noisy and grainy. I tried adjusting all manual setting. Still no improvement. Is it because of that coating the images look noisy ?

And does 3rd party app improve the image quality? I think it might not because everything depends on lens. But I have seen some good quality pics on internet taken using Xperia SP. I have no idea why my camera is so bad.

Yes I agree with you, overall xperia SP camera image quality is worse than other sony smartphone.

I don't know the reason. But after I change the lens, it getting better. I hope for long term.

Meanwhile, I do test with 3rd party camera app. But it just not gettin' better than stock. For example, Camera FV-5 developer wrote on their website, they can't full access Sony Hardware. So the image result is not good as other brand.
