Did you download with the sony companion? I'm also from belgium, sony compagnion says I have the latest software. 4.1.2?? :-(

Just connected to Sony Update service and said  update available for the first time... so excitily did  update only to find it updated back to 4.1.2 build 12.0.A.2.254........ what a let down, no change !!!!!

why oh why is  the generic  UK not showing as able to update but those with contracts with carriers are OK. Im with BTMobile on sim free phone( Generic that was sold with orange  SIM...

@just connected my phone and it is updating now, but I think it's going to stay on the .254 firmware! so what exactly is the update for Sony??? @bojofbas

I have a unbranded xsp on 4g vodafone and I to updated my phone yesterday via pc companion and the firmware stayed the same. The only difference i have noticed but i could be wrong(poor memory) is in settings it now has a 4g(preferred)wcdma/gsm option where as before im sure it said LTE/wcdma/gsm.

yes, I am led to beleive it enables 4G. However SONY has not had the grace to tell us what the upgrade does,and why they have not upgradded us to 4.3?  Cusotmer service get worse and worse... they are only after  your money, once they have it then they  ignore you

Yeah, they added a few new bits of bloatware, and changed the build number from R13A to R15A but I don't know exactly what that has done. Maybe we had to be updated to the latest build number before we got 4.3. Also I noticed that I now have more free ram than I did before, but it could be a coincidence.

Can't believe that Sony does not support its faithful customers who buy direct...
