It seems Sony's considering the sp an older model and focussing the care towards the flagship phones and leaving common folk out in the cold after this fix is done! Oh well I think I am going to root it and make this my xperiment phone and hack the **bleep** out of it! I am going to leave it stock because android is versatile and I can make and shape it to my needs! I am not going to bother with anymore updates because the phone can't handle firmware made for superpowers, end of story! I rolled back to 4.1 and it's running smooth with no issues. There are a few variants of 4.1 that I found and the North America version has my phone top notch! Leave it at that and I am reminded that if Sony can't produce a decent walkman from expensive hardware then you understand where Sony stands with its phone products!

@JTLtd_
If you mean when it's going into and coming out of sleep, then yes it still flickers.
I've had to flash 4.1.2. again - really, unless you need LTE enabled or you're wi-fi is a nightmare there's no real urgency to update.

It seems to me that wifi on .201 si worse than 266. Does someone have the same problem?

It's mostly just available to unbranded handsets at the minute. You could try contacting your network.
