Automatic Brightness Issue

The automatic brightness does not seem to be working good. I also own Xperia C & Moto G which are way cheaper than XSP and the automatic brightness seems to work flawlessly on them. The Moto G which is almost half the price of XSP gives superb display and sunlight visiblity is awesome as the sensor works perfectly. However I am very much dissapointed with SP. Please Help!!

Re: Automatic Brightness Issue

Thanks a lot cyapalmos.
For everyone else... Here is the solution :

Go to settings>display>brightness.... Untick auto brightness

Then go to play store...and download "Yet another Auto Brightness"
After installation open that app and do these settings....

tick start on device boot
tick auto night mode
Manual Adjustment slider to full
then click three dots on upper right corner...click preferences..
tick start on device boot
UNtick persist notification.
Tick use system alarm
Tick smooth brightness
Tick low nightmode values

The phone will rock thereafter B-)

Re: Automatic Brightness Issue

Tested....all results Ok. However there is no link of the app with Light Sensor. Light sensors are not tested on it!!

Re: Automatic Brightness Issue

A suggestion... install Velis Auto Brightness from Google play.. can customise brightness level for every value of light sensor. Works well. (All last can use it until newer firmware update fixes the problem.. if that ever get fixed Grinning Face)

Re: Automatic Brightness Issue

I use "YAAB" or Yet Another Auto Brightness app.  Works beautifully, even better than stock

I have sony xperia C4 dual, the touch and display has been changed but after this the brightness is not bright as earlier before changing the display.Although it is on full bright mode.
