I first purchased my Xperia M5 in September, and since then I have had many problems. The clock would freeze, phone would shut down and restart, camera would freeze, etc etc. It got to the point where my first phone shut down completely and would not turn on. I took it to the Xperia support in Bangkok - they staff didn't ask any questions, simply said it would take 2 weeks to fix and shipped the phone off. This was in the beginning of May, 2017. Now I am on to my second Xperia M5 (free through warranty) and I have the exact same problems, only this time happening much sooner. It has hardly been a month and already my new Xperia is dead and not turning on, depsite having a full charge and trying all the resetting techniques I've seen on the internet. I am extremely dissapointed with this phone. It is such a waste to go get ANOTHER new product, even if it is still under warranty. It is extremely inconvienient for work and I simply do not want to support Sony any more. My partner has the exact same phone and is experiencing the same problems, only his is no longer under warranty and he will now have to pay to have his repaired again (for the third time). Is anyone else having these issues? Is it possible to get a full refund for a phone if I am still under warranty? Many thanks in advance. Evelyn

I'm sorry to hear about your phone. Due to this being a user-based forum, we might not be able to answer your question about product repairs/refunds as these matters are handled locally and will differ between market. The best thing you can do is to contact your Local support and discuss the matter with them.

This is only a suggestion im not sure if this will work. First, if you have a sony xperia companion (PC) try to repair it or try to update your android version if you haven't tried. If this 2 options did not work then i suggest you to return it again in customer service and let them fixed it.
PS. Dont forget to back your files first.

Image same issue with my M5 from the very first day I bought it in india, and now am in Europe. The fon trips off or freezes every time and it takes at times 3 days to come up.
Simply, the model is worst fon ever by Sony.its a shame to Sony.
