Wifi signal problem

My Xperia m5 wifi performance is poor.

IMG_20190501_140458_373.jpgAlso have that weird bug

I stand just two meters away from the router but the signal drops like 3 ticks.

I have tried to change router settings however that didn't make any difference. Also tried with another smartphone, signal didn't dropped.

Any suggestions?

@Nothingtodo

Are you syncing or have any auto backup enabled (google photos) ?

@uliwooly

Yes, auto backup is enabled in Google Photos. But not always syncing.
