Hi, My m4 after update to andro 6 shows only 883 MB Ram... it has 2 GB Ram memory, why is not the whole memory working? Its not all, my front camera is not working and the system is working really slow... I allready have repaired my smartphone via Xperia Center but the issue still occures. Don't write to me that I should go to the local servis, because that is the last thing that I will do. There must be any solution...

Hi everyone!
I have just received a reply from the team I escalated this to and they have concluded that this is related to a component failure. If you are experiencing that the RAM memory is about half of what it should be I recommend that you have your device sent for repairs at an authorized service centre in order to have this sorted out. The easiest way to proceed with doing this is by contacting your Local support team as they will have more information on local service and warranty procedures in your area.
I'm really sorry for any and all inconvenience this causes for you!

MM is a huge and resource eating update, so no surprize it takes that much RAM. I believe what you see is the free RAM memory. How did you check?

Hi @DamiL,
I just checked in an updated Xperia M4 Aqua. When I look under Settings > Memory there is a big text saying (in my case) 893MB which is the average memory use. Is that the text you are referring to? Your total RAM is displayed under Settings > Memory > Total memory.
Could you take a screenshot under Settings > Memory and then post the screenshot in this thread?

@DamiL If you need to check the old running apps method, now you can find it under developer options and it's called running services.

@DamiL Your phone has 2 GB of RAM memory, can you check under developer options - running services the amount of RAM available? To enable developer options, go to settings - about phone - tap on build number about 7-8 times.

Hi @Lenny2,
Is it the same if you look under the developer options as @alexdon mentioned?
