Re: Unfortunately camera has stopped

I have the same issue in my sony xperia c5 utra, nothing happen,i tried to resolve the issue by basic troubleshooting on the videos that i watched.. My front cam is not working. Stating that i have opened another camera in other apps. Its all regrets and disappointed because i choose this brand/phone over others.
The front cam is the only highlight of this model. I gues the best thing to do is to replace the camera module and you have to pay. So disappointed

Re: Unfortunately camera has stopped

I havedone this
Settings >apps >all >camera
From this point I have 4 options
Camera
Camera common
Camera extension
Cameras
And I have cleared all the data. But the problem is, I can only use my rear camera. But the front camera still not working.

Re: Unfortunately camera has stopped

i'm also experiencing the same problem. I've tried to reboot, to factory reset and clear cache and data yet my camera still stops in working. I bought my sony m5 dual just 2 months ago and hearing issues like this is so very frustration, i choose sony over iphone because its  cheaper yet it offers the best camera phones + it is water resistant but because of this issue i'm starting tto hate Sony.

Re: Unfortunately camera has stopped

I have contacted Sony. This issue has been happening with devices for almost four years without a recall on the faulty hardware. I have advised Sony I will be filing a complaint with the Ministry of Consumer Affairs.

Re: Unfortunately camera has stopped

I'm so grateful for this. I don't have to send my phone to the company. Thank you very much for the suggestion! It really worked out for my problem.

I was very frustrated bcs i tried everything but they were all in vain. I rebooted my phone on safe mode as you suggested and i can open my camera now!
