lost status originally with z3, used to log in using psn details.

now with z4 tablet, still blue.

absolute joke now.

The 'local support team' provided in that link state that they do not provide support for the Xperia Lounge or related account issues (no Gold etc).

 

As far as I can tell, nobody in Sony Support seems to know whose job sorting out the 'no gold' issue should be.

After doing some reading, I think the issue is that my account was originally created/logged in with an existing PSN account (back when I bought my Xperia Z Tablet).

 

From what I have read, these are the accounts which are exhibiting the 'lost gold' or 'unable to upgrade to gold'.

 

Is there a fix on your end you can do for this now (a sony rep several months ago stated the devs were aware of it and working on it)?  If not, is it possible that removing my registered devices, deleting the account, and then re-creating it will solve the issue?

I had the same issue and contacted Xperia Care. In my case I used me PSN account back when I had my Z2. I got Gold. Then after Xperia accounts were required I created a new account and afaik I still was Gold. Then with the Z3+ I just used my Xperia account but wasn't Gold. Xperia Care told me to log out, delete / uninstall the app (or at least the updates) and then to reinstall and re-login with the Xperia account. Then after some days I should get back Gold status.

I can't say i've heard of that issue.

I'm afraid i can't fix the issue from my location. When there's an issue with an account your local support team needs to take your details, create a case for you and forward that internally to the department handling this for your market. I've left them a note with instructions about this in your chat case.

I have fixed mine.
Went into psn account management and changed my log in email to the new Sony support one (and the xperia one on tab) deleted lounge and reinstalled it.
A day later I went gold.
