When I try sign into my xperia lounge on my xperia xz, it just hangs and then says "cant sign in". Can anyone help

I think I've found one of the determining factors that won't allow us to sign in. When using your google account it might not work if your settings won't allow less secure apps to access your google account information so in order to undo this go to Settings > Accounts & Services > Google > Sign in & Security Less secure apps. This should solve it.

So I just fixed my wife's phone.
I went into settings>support
It popped up to say the "token" has expired.
I click anything positive and clicked to get my product ID and warranty.
I was then able to go straight to lounge and signed right in.
I hope this helps someone else.

Sony should give these trouble shooting guides directly in the app when you get the login error.
The Support > Token solution worked for me!

I have this same problem. Wife does too. Both on Xperia X Compact. Neither of us have ever been able to login. None of the above suggestions work. Just get "no login service available, could not login, keep browsing". So frustrating.
