I had a sony xperia l1 given to me and paid for it to be completely reset and its not working as i

I paid for the phone to be completely reset it was sent of for a week to do this and it came back I put my sim in and it asked for my Gmail info which I did then it asked me for the previous synced Gmail account which I do not know?!! I also paid for the charging point to be fixed. Please will someone tell me what I can do so I can use the phone ????

Part of Google's Android security can include a setting which does not allow reinstall of software without entering the original Google information linked to the device.

I'm afraid you might need to contact the original owner and get the password.
