Please add option to deactivate the swipe-down app search feature on Home screen

When I swipe from one home screen to another or when I just want to tap one app icon while on the move, it often triggers the app search screen. That's a an obvious UI flaw which needs to be addressed, e.g. by giving the user the option to deactivate this feature, just like it is now possible to deactivate automatic app suggestions.


I doubt that searching apps through a search field is really helpful anyway, given that typing text is probably slower than just tapping the "Apps" icon. Voice search might be a different thing, but only if one is inclined to use it. For those who are not, the option to remove the triggering of the GA  through the Home button should be implemented...
