Problem when starting the phone.

Hello

 

Just recently my Experia E5 is randomly turning off after and during startup. My battery fine and have plenty of space. It normally gets past the Experia logo and shuts off. Or if the phone starts up normally less than a minute goes by until it just shuts off again, when this happens the phone won't switch on again afterwards. Also when charging it will start to charge then it will stop charging (showing a red light) then starts charging again. Then stops charging for while,then starts charging again.

 

Does anyone know what the problem can be?

 

I've owned this phone for a year and 8 months now and don't really want to change it.

I have the exact same problem.

My phone started with this problem last saturday, I left it charging in the night and when I turn it on in the morning it didn`t start, it only turned on the red light while charging, I had to disassemble the phone, remove the battery connector and then put it back in. Since then, my phone charges up to 100% with no problems, but I can only turn it on without the charger plugged in, and then when appears the sony logo, I need to plug the charger, then I can use it, but if unplug the charger, the phone turns itself off, plus I can only charge it through my computer, because when I charge it with the original charger I have the same problem as you (It charges, and then stops).

I have no idea of what the problem is, there's another thread in this forum about this problem (https://talk.sonymobile.com/t5/Xperia-E5/Sony-xperia-E5-keeps-turning-itself-off/td-p/1165235/page/3) but everyone except one had warranty, and no one found the origin of the problem.

I bought this phone over 1 and half years ago (I don`t have extended warranty) so, if you found a solution for this problem or the origin of it, please send another message to this thread posting the solution.
