" unfortunately contact has stopped"

Hi 

 

I have been facing this problem that when I open the contacts of the phone ( c5 ultra dual) and select any of the contacts, a message is displayed stating "unfortunately contact has stopped" 

 

I have done :-

Clear data of the contact apps 

And restarted my phone 

 

A few days ago I had also done a factory reset but the problem is not solved. Please help and suggest measures to correct .

Try to repair smartphone with Xperia Companion. But keep in mind restore of back up will restore and problems, so my advise numbers with yours hands write someone on paper, photos do copy in computer if you havn't it in memory card, messages will be removed too and ect. So first at all try repair smartphone after you will do back up and see is problem or not, if problem will be only after restore, that's mean you will be need to write numbers manually, messages will remove and ect. Also factory reset don't re-installing software, just Xperia Companion doing fresh install, after factory reset problem can be not solved, so try repair Slightly smiling Face
