System UI stopped working on Xperia C5 Ultra

Hi Folks! 

 

I have the same issue on my C5 Ultra. But my problem is that I could not clear the cache because the orange clear cache doesn't allow me so, its like "grayed (orange) out. 

 

when I use some of my apps it pops out the system UI system blah blah, then it proceed on black screen. 

 

I hope you could guys help me out or suggest any way to figure it out. 

 

It will be greatly appreciated it.

Hi @LolaKey, sorry to hear about this. Slightly frowning Face

If it's greyed out, there is no cache that can be deleted. Is it the same with the clear data button? If you clear data, it will also clear the cache for the application.

If you still experience this behaviour, try performing a software repair using Xperia Companion. This will delete all data stored on the internal storage of the device, so you will need to create a backup, before you start with the repair.
