Re: TOUCHSCREEN wiered problem

I have this problem too. I've done the tests, and it occasionally will fail in safe mode for the screen touch test. But the next time it will pass. I've done a full reset (twice) and it still persists. (See screenshot) Screenshot_20170714-142156.png

Re: TOUCHSCREEN wiered problem

Have updated to 45.0.A.7.90 used for a few days now and the issue still persist.

It is really very hard to pinpoint the issue. Sometimes it just works fine, but sometimes misses touch input.

Mine is also a Rev.4.

Re: TOUCHSCREEN wiered problem

I think this could be hardware related.

Re: TOUCHSCREEN wiered problem

Hi there

Similar problem, looks like the right bottom area is affected. Noticed couple things, when the phone is not used, there is no problems with the to touchscreen. After a while, texting, or even scorlling on FB you will start encouter miss points on the screen, it is very frustrating when you trying to text something quickly but it does not catching the letters.

So after around 15 min using the screen it is starting playing up. Im just really hoping this is software related, miss reads

Re: TOUCHSCREEN wiered problem

I have the same problem with my phone too. It sometimes feel like the phone is maybe too slow so it can't register the touch.

Re: TOUCHSCREEN wiered problem

Same problem here. However I found a worked workaround, just applied matte screen protector. Now typing has been smooth like never before (with a sacrifice of display crispiness).

Re: TOUCHSCREEN wiered problem

yes, the same problem.

And bad news is, I tried the "adb" tool to simulate swipe operations for 1000 times with command "adb shell input swipe xx xx xx xx (two coordinate)", the device responds well,

which means when it detects the swipe operation it works fine,

which means it doesn't detect the finger swipe occationally,

which means it COULD BE HARDWARE related.

BTW, mine is HongKong version firmware

Re: TOUCHSCREEN wiered problem

I have this problem too and made a video https://youtu.be/o89vCOFQ0cM

Unfortunately many users have the problem that the touchscreen doesnt recognize all inputs... Hardware or Software Problem?
