Re: Stagefright 2.0 CVE-2015-6602 and CVE-2015-3876

Yes, for those that are not planned to get 6.0, hopefully at least a 5.1.? Stagefright 2.0 fix could be issued - PLEASE!

Re: 23.4.A.1.232 stagefright problem

Even if they were all green it would still be effected by the exploit as there is a new Stagefright 2

Re: 23.4.A.1.232 stagefright problem

To add to my above post

The image above states that Stagefright version 1.0 is secure but the line in red 6602 is the new version 2.0 and is not secure so if the lines were all green then yes your device would be secure to all current versions of Stagefright

26.1.A.2.167 for E2353

A few minutes ago I got OTA update from 26.1.A.2.147 to 26.1.A.2.167. No details changelog on screen. But I think it's give update for Stagefright malware.

I've re-scan using Stagefright Detector from Zimperium, and you can see there is one vulnerable left.

Does anyone from this forum can give more informative changelog? I've checked support page, but I think it not updated yet, still showed 26.1.A.2.99.

On this 26.1.A.2.167;

  1. No option for USB Connectivity option
  2. Idle SoC clock speed is lower, hope will cooler
  3. I haven't benchmark yet, but didn't notice lag so far
  4. More free internal space, Google+, News Stand and Playbook can completely removed

Any further info, I'll posting on this forum.

Stagefright threat

Today when I checked my t2 ultra dual with stagefright detector it shows my device is vulnerable to stagefright. Here I share my Screenshot_2015-10-16-19-08-24.pngScreenshot.

What should I do.It is unsecure to use a device which is under stagefright threat.

Re: Stagefright threat

Sony should release a security update to fix this.
