Man, I really doubt. As far as I know (and all users too) Sony is slow with everything, so wishful thinking (sadly).

Do you give promise to b2b about security updates/schedule/how many times a year?
Can you act proactively or reactively when for example threat is ancknowledged?
How quickly can you act to launch a patch when threat is found?

It seems more important to Sony to update their own bloatware stuff than to simply roll out fixes for severe security issues. Google already provides those fixes, so just roll them out!
