Re: Security patches. How? When? How often?

It's now January 2019 and my xa2 is still on the Sept 1st security update, I don't mind being a couple of months behind in updates but 4 months or at least 3 months is getting to be a bit of a joke

I have also an XA2 Dual (H4113). When will come the CE1 region 50.1.A.13.123 update? It's more than one month out and almost all other regions are updated!

Has anyone any idea why Sony have stopped issuing updates to my phone?

Also any idea why I haven't had oreo?

Cheers

Re: Security patch stuck at 52.0.A.3.84

The only country variant on 52.0.A.3.84 is Hong Kong. Most of the other countries are already on  52.0.A.3.202.

I believe it's only a matter of time until your phone receives the update.

Re: Security patch stuck at 52.0.A.3.84

Thanks, you guessed it, :-D  actually my phone is a Hong Kong import. Do you think  I could/should install a different country firmware to get the updates earlier, or it's an IMEI related "issue"? Thanks for any help. Regards :-D

Security Patch XZs

My gadget is still in the October version (41.3.A.2.192), and already has a February patch. Whenever I go in "Software Update" shows as already updated with the latest version! I also tried the Xperia Companion. My biggest problem and the reason why I would like to somehow update to try to see if they fixed some flaws that is happening to me, example: Overheating, when a little more demanding like watching a 10-minute video on Youtube the display shakes and after this is almost certain that the device will reboot. It is restarting very often! Anything that requires a little more of the XZs it ends up restarting! I hope you can help me. Sorry for my English.
