Ok with snapdragon, then what's the reasons why will not get Nougat smartphones with mediatek like C5 Ultra (dual too)? Slightly smiling Face

Android 7 for XZ

Please Sony Developers,

give us the possibility to set our SD card as internal memory. I know its slower but I have for example 32 + 64sd = 96gb internal space. It´s ok when we have to wait a few seconds more to open a app.

Re: Android 7 for XZ

You can send your feedback to Sony >>> Local support but that's unlikely to happen, not all users will want to wait to open an app or having unstable apps.

Re: Android Nougat When are we getting it? Which Xperias will be updated?

Just wanted to know if my Xperia Z3 will get Nougat. I've been reading all of the internet posts and articles and there is no sign of "Yes, we'll make that happen like the other devices". I'm just worried a bit cause two years have passed since its release and it's not so fair to leave it behind. Just not fair. Hoping Sony or related will read my message.

Xperia Z3 will not get Nougat. All list of devices which will get Nougat you can find here http://blogs.sonymobile.com/2016/08/23/sony-xperia-and-android-7-0-nougat/ Slightly smiling Face

P.S.: Always about Sony Mobile news, even about update first check in Sony Mobile official web site and blog http://www.sonymobile.com/ or http://blogs.sonymobile.com/ Also you can check information about Xperia news in unofficial blog http://www.xperiablog.net/ or about updates in unofficial web site https://xpericheck.com. Official information about Nougat you can find information here https://www.android.com/versions/nougat-7-0/. Nougat beta version by Wikipedia released March 9, 2016, so left about 8 month and it's not 2 years like you wrote https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Android_Nougat Slightly smiling Face For any update need time to test it, how it works in some models and ect., time need and to create it. I'm afraid you checking wrong information... Always read just official information which is trust... And don't believe in any rumor and speculation Slightly smiling Face

And i'm afraid any request to update yours Z3 to Nougat will not helps Slightly smiling Face

Android 7.0 on Xperia e5

I have bought this phone released this year on market with Android 6.0.. And Sony has decided to stop supporting the Android upgrade. In my opinion this phone has enough capacity for Android upgrade! It's very frustrating and unfortunately I would no more buy phone from Sony...

Re: Android Nougat When are we getting it? Which Xperias will be updated?

I meant, two years have passed since the release of the PHONE. That's why I'm a bit upset about that, and we're not going to get Nougat, no support just after two years Xperia Z3 got released. That pretty lame. Not to mention that Z3 is a great phone with still a lot to offer. The top smartphone when it got released. And still now. I've purchased Xperia Z3 cause I've liked it and had faith in Sony. Now I feel some kind of not going to buy another Sony smartphone.

Re: Android Nougat When are we getting it? Which Xperias will be updated?

Sorry, but it's pretty much same situation with nearly all manufacturers.
Compared to others, sonys support lifespan for updates is pretty good.
