Connect your phone via USB to a PC/Mac with Xperia Companion installed, and the software will notify you if there are available updates for your phone.

Does Xperia Z Ultra will get atleast Marshmallow (6.0.1) update? Because I already giving up on that phone to get Nougat (7.0 - 7.1.2) or Oreo (8.0 - 8.1).
Looks like Oreo (8.1) has "Android Oreo Go Edition, an optional lightweight distribution of Android for low-end devices with less than 1 GB of RAM", but I still feel you don't want put any more time on old phones of yours.
