What update are you downloading ? Is it on your phone ( software update app ) or you're downloading through PC Companion ?

If you're getting a notification for update in your phone, then just download it and install it. You need to follow the steps it shows.

When is Sony going to patch Xperia T3 and E3 for the Stagefright vulnerability? No update till nw? What is Sony doing? Does it care about security of all users? Or only cares for its top phones? No Lollipop update till now for these two devices....can anyone tell me if Sony is working for any updates to Xperia T3 and E3? Why did Sony even released these products if they were not going to support these products at all!!!

For a start the t3 just isn't a popular enough device to warrant the development time look at the registered users on here for a start. T3 less than 850 registered users where as the m2 has well over 7000 and this is just the forum, the e3 only has 4GB internal memory no where near enough for 5.1 so no way this would get it it wouldn't fit in the device for a start. Stagefright fixes as long as you turn off auto download of mms in settings you should be fine. I've not heard of any attacks via this method yet.
