Unable to connect to the Wifi at home, WPA2 Password not accepted

I'm having troubles connecting the Smartwatch to my Wifi. For some reason the connection info was not carried over from the phone and I have to enter the WPA2 password manually. However, when entering the correct password in the android wear app, it keeps telling me that it is wrong. WPS+ is not supported, which is funny, since it worked for connecting the phone itself. About 5 devices are working perfectly in this network with this password, so what could be the problem?
