smartband 10 Bluetooth unlock on Z3 doesn't work

Hello there!
Yesterday updated my xperia Z3 to Android 5.0.2.
And the topic happened. I can't add the smartband as a legal Bluetooth device to unlock the phone without graphical key or Pin. It is only possible to add my sony wireless headphones.
Please help.

Re: smartband 10 Bluetooth unlock on Z3 doesn't work

Hey guys!

If you have Xperia and SmartBand10 fnd you want to have a Bluetooth unlock - you'll have to do these steps:

1. Turn off smartband. Looong press to button.

2. Turn off the SmartBand application in applications on your Xperia(Force stop).

3. Turn on Smartband

4. Go to Bluetooth settings on your Xperia

5. Find new available device SWR10

6. Pair this device as Trusted

7. Have fun!

And you will have to repeat all these steps every time when you turn off your Xperia.

Hi RedSkyRadiance

Are you able to supply more details, such as any error messages that may appear, anything unusual?

Re: Smart Lock and Smartband FAIL

Smart Lock does not work because the SmartBand is not in the list of paired Bluetooth devices

Fw: 23.1.A.0.690, error is on the Z2 and Z3 Compact

Smart Lock glitch

Hi. Can you improve Smart Lock. If i set "secured devices" such as bluetooth headset, or nfc tag, everything is ok, I neednt enter set pattern, but if i set "secured places" in 99 % it doesnt work. Even I have turn on mobile data, wifi, gps location (high priority) I have to enter pattern to unlock device. Would be fine also add "secured wifi" not only places... Can u do that? Because in this way it`s completely useless... :/

Re: smartband 10 Bluetooth unlock on Z3 doesn't work

Hi,

As far as I know, it's not possible to add SmartBand as a Bluetooth device to unlock the phone in Lollipop. If you want to unlock the phone with your SmartBand, you need to add it as NFC type (Settings > Security > Smart Lock > Trusted devices > NFC).

But I will forward this internally for further information.
