Deduplicating Contacts in Sony Contacts App

Hello,

I recently bought my first Android phone, an XZ3, and I'm really enjoying it. As I'm navigating my way through the Android and Sony apps, I've got an issue I'm hoping someone can help me with.

I have three primary email addresses, and I've chosen to use separate apps for each of them (this helps me organize and respond much better to them). I have Gmail for my @gmail address, Nine for my @hotmail address, and Yahoo! for my @yahoo address.

Unfortunately, the stock Sony Contacts app will show multiple entries for my contacts - anywhere from 3 to 6 each. When I look at the Settings -> Accounts, I see Exchange ActiveSynce for @hotmail, Google for @gmail, LinkedIn, Messenger, Nine for @hotmail, Skype, WhatsApp, and Yahoo! for the @yahoo address. That makes sense. On my Windows Phones, I could essentially configure the device to merge all the duplicate contacts into one entry, so that instead of seeing 6 entries for my wife, I just saw one. If I chose to Edit the contact, then I would be asked which source I wanted to Edit (Outlook/Hotmail, Gmail, etc.).

The problem here is, I don't see any way to do this in the Sony Contacts app. I can link one by one, but as an example, it took a minute or two to manually link five contact entries into one entry. There is no way I am doing that for hundreds of contacts I've built over the years. It seems like there should be a way to have an option to merge or deduplicate the contact entries so that I only see one per person, but I can't figure it out for the life of me. Does anyone have any suggestions, or am I just stuck?

Thanks in advance.
