Sony Ericsson Vivaz u5 PROBLEM!!!!

U CAN't USE NETWORK BECAUSE IS FLIGHT MODE ON. ( INSERT A SIM CART )

I can't call anyone always saying me .. Insert a sim card.. but my sim is allready there..

One last suggestion, see if you have the same issue with a different SIM Card.

If the same, I believe your next stop would be the local SE Service Centre (at least you tried) since Software Repair did not resolve your issue.

If it works with a different SIM Card, I guess you should know what to do.

Hi, did you remove and check your SIM Card? Could be dirt on the contact points? Try giving contact points a wipe (both SIM Card and phone). That's the first thing to do. Slightly smiling Face

The other thing, is phone on Flight Mode?

I have removed and check my cart in other phone.. it works.

When i starts the phone sometime he ask me do you wanna flight mode on? .. When i click on YES.. Automatly ( INSERT A SIM CARD ) .. But when i start with NO .. He login and i have an network , but when i try to contact someone by dial .. he just crash . ( INSERT A SIM CARD ) ... :S


P.S : I try to restart phone settings.. I can't .. " GENERIC ERROR "

In that case, suggest performing a Software Repair with either PC Companion or SE Update Service. Here's the download link for both, http://www.sonyericsson.com/cws/support/mobilephones/downloads/vivaz?cc=gb&lc=en

Just make sure you backup your data prior to performing Software Repair.

Let's hope it is just a software glitch.
