External storage device music info persistance

I have a 16GB USB with an OTG adapter. Because I am running out of space on my phone, I'm keep my music on the USB. I can download the music info (which is somewhat inaccurate, but that's another story) for the music, but as soon as I eject the USB, all the music info is lost. This only occurs when the phone is on. Is there a way to stop music info being lost when external storage devices are removed with music on them?

Re: External storage device music info persistance

Yes: Connect this USB to your PC and use Media Go software to update music info, any updates made from phone is stored locally on the phone itself, thus if you remove the USB, reset phone, or cleared the media database these updates will be lost. So it's a better idea to update the media themselves on the USB.
