Duplicate Playlists when syncing with Media Go

Having a minor, albeit annoying, issue with Media Go. Pretty much every time I sync it with my phone, instead of just updating the playlists it created duplicates of the playlists so I end up with "R&B" and "R&B(2)" for instance. I have about 25 playlists and it really bugs me that after every sync it turns into 50 and I then end up having to manually delete the duplicates from File Explorer.

Anyone else encountered this issue or have ideas how to prevent it?

What if you try this

settings > apps > all > walkman > clear data > restart your phone > check again.

Will this delete any play counts or album art from Walkman?

Re: Duplicate Playlists when syncing with Media Go

I know this is old but if anyone is still dealing with this issue (I was) here is what worked for me.

1. open Device Preferences in MediaGO

->Click on Media Preparation

   Change Prepare to: None

2.

->Click on Playlists

(Optional) UnSelect All Playlists, Apply to Clear everything

**The device should clear everything automatically but if not do it manually**

3. Now you can only select the playlists you want to sync and it should update as you make changes and not duplicate playlists anymore.

The issue causing duplication was having multiple sync settings enabled (Media Preparation Setting & Selected Playlists)
