Android Kitkat 4.4.4 upgrade downgraded the Walkman app

Walkman app on the earlier version of Kitkat had been updated a month ago and allowed to play music by folders. However, the current Walkman app on Kitkat 4.4.4 does not show Folder. In fact, the version on Kitkat 4.4.4 is an older one.

Xperia ZR. Version of walkman is 8.3.a.0.9. which is a downgrade from what was rolled out on the older firmware, prior to the firmware upgrade.

Have you checked update centre? Are you sure you haven't uninstalled updates for the app?
