About Sony music app

Can I select the path  which I stored  music?

Both Photo Album and  Music app will scan all the storage space and show me some picture which some apps  auto downloaded or some music I don't want to listen.

I use a phone recording and the Music app will show this things too.It is a bad experience.

Re: About Sony music app

yeah, it's annoying and there's no way to do that from the Sony Music app. as a workaround, you can create an empty file, name it .nomedia (notice the dot before the N, it's important) and put it in the same directory as the recordings. that will prevent media apps from adding them to their libraries.

As we know, when you create the .nomedia, all apps will cerate another media file to storge the recording or pictures, then you will find them again and again.

that hasn't been my experience. using a .nomedia file works fine for me in similar situations.

Re: About Sony music app

It would be a good improvement for all Sony apps like Album, Music, Video - to allow user select the path or multiple paths as the source for the data instead of searching and showing results from entire storage.

I think this topic should be moved to specific: apps -- > Music section.
