The copyleft kernel build guide is obsolete (https://developer.sonymobile.com/open-devices/how-to-build-and-flash-a-linux-kernel/how-to-build-and...) and is only valid for Z3 and earlier devices. Specially, I am talking about the <Assemble boot image> step, which says we must use the mkqcdtbootimg tool, while in the Github repo says (README_Xperia file) we must use mkbootimg tool.
Also, the mkqcdtbootimg arguments (base, ramdisk_offset, cmdline and tags_offset) are unknown for newer devices such as Xperia X series as they arent specified in the build guide
I tried both of them, and still didnt manage to boot the kernel from copyleft sources.
Please, kindly update the copyleft kernel build guide, and specify which mkbootimg or mkqcdtbootimg we should be using

Its been more than 6 months , there is still no guide for other devices like m4 aqua xperia x etc etc in copyleft build guide

each copyleft comes with a readme_experia whichdescribes howto build the kernel
