I'm try to compile kernel from copyleft repo on github for xperia xz2,
The compilation was success without errors
I have repack the boot image from firmware that download from xperifirm then replace zImage with mine and pack it back and flash it, but the phone is not boot (always showing the "your device is corrupt" screen the power off itself)
I wonder that the source code from this repo can be use to build the custom kernel for stock firmware or only the source from "kernel" repo is compatible to use with stock firmware?

the source from kernel-copyleft is the copyleft for the Sony Sw release while the kernel git (support for XZ2 is work in progress) is used for the Open Devices release

The Xperia XZ2 device needs a bootloader upate to be able to use the custom kernels
We are working on the update and we will release it ASAP
