Make supporting easier.

Is it possible to add a few prerequisites for people starting new threads?

 

1. Firmware version

2. Tried to update or repair their phone.

 

It would save a lot of time and prompt people to try the latter before posting.

@XprncD this is actually a good idea with only one problem, many people arrive to the forum without registering their phone in the Sony Support website and many users have no clue on how to get the firmware version. 

 

If your Forum account is tied to a Sony Support account it's possible between the two platforms to interchange data hence showing for example as a signature the model and the firmware version but making it "required".. I see it hard. But a checkbox that reads "Performed a Software Repair" - that is easy and may help.
