I'm on D2303 ( a new version) as well and I have the same problem. Did everything properly but always get bootloop.
Removing the sensors.msm8226.so while in bootloop ( Flashed newest AOSP 5.x) apparently did the trick.
Its not in a state thats usable after that though. (no sensors,lags,freezes..)
I would really like to know if thats something that can be fixed without Sony,
because then Im probably better off getting another phone
Did that with "galaxyfreaks" instructions so dont ask me about how and what, no idea..

Well not much. Devs form xda forums are testing some solutions. It is possible to boot into system but without accelometer or GPS. Also, the screen is buggy sometimes. We have to wait more
