Notifications (Globe) icon in forums

When I get a new notification and it shows a number on the globe icon, sometimes it opens messages instead. Then upon clicking on the globe icon again it goes to notifications page.

Using Chrome for desktop on Windows 8.1 laptop.

@Quester

I've seen that before, it happens to me quite often, you have to click right on the globe otherwise it will take you to the messages.
