Z3c: Email "Could not log in"

Hi,

I hope someone can help.

 

Z3C with stock email app. Email seems to work fine (both in and out) but, for the last few months, it notifies me, several times a day, that it could not log in. (If I happen to be in the Inbox, it shows "Check username, password...etc".) It's really annoying and intrusive.

 

I've tried deleting and reinstalling. It also doesn't seem to matter whether it's on wi-fi or mobile data.

 

Does this sound like a phone issue or an IP issue?
