Can't sync to my live email account, keeps telling me "could not open connection to server" was working fine before update to 6.0 marshmallow, any ideas?

Hello, I have a problem with my Xperia L , I wanted to register my Google mail but eventually I appeared the following:
failed to login
You can not establish a reliable connection to the server .
You may be a temporary problem or your Android device is not ready for data services . If the problem persists , call customer service .
What can I do in this case, any idea , thanks.
