Xperia XZ2 Premium Bokeh and Monochrome camera options now availble

Hey Xperia XZ2 Premium owners!

Since today Sony Mobile started the release of the firmware with build number 51.1.A.12.27. It introduce the must waited Bokeh and Monochrome to the amazing XZ2P camera.

So, if you updated your device, tell me: what are your thoughts? Or even some sample pictures!? Grinning Face

To take a photo with the Bokeh effect
  1. When using the camera, tap Dual effect menu > Bokeh.
  2. To adjust the background defocus strength, tap White balance icon > Dual effect tab bokeh. Drag the slider to adjust.
  3. To adjust the brightness, tap Colour brightness icon. Drag the slider to adjust.
  4. Press the camera key or tap the shutter button to take a photo.

The Bokeh effect is only available in Superior auto mode.

If you get too close to or too far to an object while using the Bokeh effect, a warning message appears. If this happens, adjust the distance between your camera and the object to take the photo with Bokeh effect.

To take a photo or record a video with the Monochrome effect
  1. When using the camera, tap Dual effect menu > Monochrome.
  2. To adjust the contrast, tap White balance icon > Dual effect contrast. Drag the slider to adjust.
  3. To adjust the brightness tap Colour brightness icon. Drag the slider to adjust.
  4. Press the camera key or tap the shutter button to take a photo or record a video.

The Monochrome effect is only available in Superior auto and Video mode.
