XZ2C Pie: Camera crashes due to an error related to ToF sensor (crash log included)

My XZ2 Compact is on Android Pie.

 

I was using Google Street View app to take a photosphere panorama. The camera stuck at about 75% in the process. The street view app as well as the stock camera will crash if I force stop it. The only thing I could do is to restart. I tried many times and the bug kept appearing. This never happened on Oreo.

 

I was so enraged because not only did this bug waste me a lot of time, but the unique transient scene was also gone forever! And it is so cold to hold the phone. Please fix the bug as soon as possible!!!

The same problem occurs again today! Now it's still on November security patches.

The error seems to appear only when I point my camera down towards a certain slope going up.

Anyone from Sony please say something if you acknowledge this bug!
