Hi dx486!

Sorry to hear that you have a problem with BFM.

Have you tried the solution that I mentioned for Alkbryne?

Please write back to med if you still have a problem.

Best regards

Re: backup location sony bridge for mac

HEllo anyone,

I'm on a Mac running 10.10.3 using Sony Bridge For Mac 4.0(4003). I looked through this while thread and the location that they suggest just doesn't seem to exist on my Mac, or it's hidden or soemthing. I'm not a big time terminal user, but when I tried entering the "cd" line with "open" in termninal, it did nothing. So someone please tell me:

1) Where is the backup file stored?

and

2) Why in the world can't you choose where to store your backup files? Suppose you want to put them on a backup drive for safe keeping? Doesn't seem to be a way to choose. And yet, you can choose where to store photos, browse for files on your phone and choose where to put those as well.

Anyone, please?

Re: backup location sony bridge for mac

Hi vrble1!

I'm running the same BFM as you do (4003).

I have no problems findning my backup using:

cd ~/Library/"Application Support"/"Sony Ericsson Bridge for Mac"/Backups

in the terminal.

Then type: open . (Don't forget the dot)

You can also try:

cd ~/Library/"Application Support"/"Sony Ericsson Bridge for Mac"

Then type: ls

Do you find "Backups" listed in the terminal?

If you don't find it, you don't have a backup on your computer.

To do this without using the terminal you first have to set Library to visible.

Here is a link that shows how:

http://www.macworld.com/article/2057221/how-to-view-the-library-folder-in-mavericks.html

I can't answer your other question but I can pass it forward to the development team.

Please write back if you still have a problem.

Best regards
