Xperia V Earpiece and Notification bug

Model: Sony Xperia V LT25i

Software: 4.3 - 9.2.A.2.5

Earpiece bug:

I don't know when it started, but whenever I receive a call, I can't hear the caller, except when I switch to loudspeaker.

I downloaded an app that plays music using the earpiece and there I heard a very weak sound coming from it.

Then after browsing/playing other music, the earpiece went back to normal. But more often than not, the problem happens again.

I think earpiece is not entirely broken 'coz there is sound, and it comes back after some time in an intermittent manner.

Notification bug:

My phone just vibrates and no sound comes off when receiving push notifications. Solved by restarting the phone.

It's really annoying.

Please help me out here Sony people. Don't leave your customers hanging.

I suggest that you try to repair the phone software using PC Companion..

Before repairing your device you may want to backup your information first. Check out this topic for more information on how to.
How to backup?

If the issue should still remain I think that this needs to be examined and fixed at a repair center. For more information about how to submit your phone for repair and where, contact your local support team.
