Xperia SP, Random shutdown after the battery is belo 60%

Hi guys,

I need your help to solve my problem.

My XSP randomly shutdown everytime its battery is below 60%. However, it only happens when I turn on my mobile data. When I turn on WIFI, it's fine actually.

I've tried to hard reset and also flash my phone.
I also tried to change my sim card, but it still the same.

Please, need your help immediately

Thanks

Re: Xperia SP, Random shutdown after the battery is belo 60%

Hi @Arief77,

Welcome to the community.

Based on the information provided I would advise to first test the Xperia in Safemode.

Safemode is a mode that disables all third party apps. If any downloaded apps are causing a conflict with the phone, your handset will work correctly in this mode.

If the phone is working correctly in this mode, this indicates there is a third party app causing a conflict with the device.

In this situation I would advise to remove the downloaded apps one by one to identify which app is causing the conflict.

If the phone does not perform correctly in Safemode I would advise to run a software repair on your handset as this is likely to resolve the issues currently being experienced.

Anyway,
I've uninstalled all the 3rd apps in safe mode, and when I return to normal one,.it's still the same.
However, when I turn off the mobile data, my phone was OK

perhaps a faulty SIM card, could you test it w/o the SIM card?

@Arief77

Then it could be a hardware issue.

@Arief77,

It seems like a hardware issue as uliwooly suggests. Use the link in my signature to find your local support team to arrange an assessment.
