Re: Proximity Sensor for Xperia arc s

dial *#*#7378423#*#* then select service test..then proximity switch..

move your hands over the proximity sensor and see if its working or not...

it will create a sound also for confirmation..

Re: Proximity Sensor for Xperia arc s

Nice I have never heard of this. I tried it it is cool. Similar to the test codes on my older t310 and t610. Not same codes but I remember it used to be with the sequences involving the joystick keys also ..

Cool. Thanks Slim.

Re: Proximity Sensor for Xperia arc s

ahh soso!

Never occured to me. I wonder if those sequences on the t68i and t310 are the same. But i remembered they are much more complex and also they involved some joystick operations.

I don't have the t68i/t310i/t610i/W700i/W995i with me anymore. Lost or gone down the toilet or something like that.

Re: Proximity Sensor for Xperia arc s

Hi, there is no switch for the proximity sensor, it is just a test to see if it is working. Just move your fingers over the sensor, you should see 'ON' if it is working.
