Phone resets when charging and in standby

Hi!

I have a very important problem with my xperia z1 because every time I connect it with the USB, when it goes in standby, it starts a sort of spot of the smartphone and when I unlock the phone all the settings of the display and of the menu are resetted! How can I solve this problem?

I think that it can depend on the administrator "my xperia" that I clear everytime and it returns every time... But I'm not sure

I bought the xperia z1 only 3 days ago and I'm very scared about this prolem!

Thank you for your help

Barbara

Re: Phone resets when charging and in standby

Hi and welcome to the community! Since you're new please be sure that you have checked out our Discussion guidelines.

It sounds like your phone is set in demo mode or that the dealer gave you a demo unit not meant for sales.
First try dialing *#*#73556673#*#* and see if that helps. If demo mode has been enabled this will disable it. If it doesn't help i recommend that you contact your dealer to make sure you got a phone meant for sales.
