OTG cable doesn't work

OTG cable doesn't work

I just bought an OTG cable for Xperia Go and found out that it doesn't work.

My original intent was to use for a DSLR remote for an A37 but the apps weren't compatible,

but than I discovered that it doesn't work with flash drives too.

My phone is with unlocked bootloader and rooted, could this be the problem?

or maybe I don't know how to use it. When I was trying the flash drives

there's a folder usbdisk (with Es explorer) but it's empty and I can not copy anything to it...

Re: OTG cable doesn't work

Nope. Unlocked bootloader and root won't cause any problems.

Well, you sure your USB Storage's format is FAT32? Cause Android only can detect Fat32.

Well, you can also use exFat/NTFS but you'll need an app. Here:

I can use mouse, keyboard, ext hdd, usb storage. Slightly smiling Face

And after plugging in, check Settings>Storage and in the bottom, check if there is any storage named USB Storage.

Well, check the OTG cable too, this thing can be damaged, too. Slightly smiling Face
