Re: Miracast no longer working

It sounds like you have the very same problem totoroo, mine worked fine but now times out just as you describe. There is a little moment when you think it's going to connect and then it fails. Is this a common problem?

I repaired - again - my phone on customized nordic, this time without restoring any apps. I am actually trying to more consistently reproduce the bt bug.

I tried the throw/cast/mirror/chromecast features this morning. They all worked, somehow, this time. The miracast on my tv worked but the video would buffer and stop a lot, unusable. The only usable option would be mirror (but the video quality would suffer, lots of noise) and slightly better chromecast which would keep the quality but would buffer a little bit, that was 1080@30fps. I imagine anything more would not be watchable. Here, my 3 yo htc oe m7 would actually perform better.

Re: Miracast no longer working

Well I have an update. I have not had access to a smart tv for some while but I did check yesterday and miracast screen mirror is now working again. I can only presume one of three system updates finally fixed the problem as I have not made any attempt to reset or alter phone settings.
