Sorry to hear you're having issues with Miracast.
I just tested it here with a Sony Bravia TV but it works fine for me. What device are you trying it with? Have you tried updating the firmware?

That's the same version that i was testing here but i'm unable to test with a BDF6500. Please let me know in case updating it doesn't help and if possible, also try your Z2 with another device to see if it's a general problem with Miracast in your unit or something that happens with this specific device.
