iam in Tanzania i currently lost my Z2 but when i enter the sony.mobile web to loacate it it jus says they cant locate it and when they do they will send an email but no email no nothing its been 3days now. am really dissapointed with sony for this i guess i should go back to iphone its safer.

For this feature to work you need to have GPS and mobile data switched on - If one has been turned off or wasn't turned on or your SIM card has been removed then this feature will also cease to work

I seem to have a similar problem mentioned by others. I activated myXperia locate services, ogged, checked stamina off, mobile data one, etc. but cannot find my device. Is this service available in South Africa?
