Re: Ice Cream Sandwich Treat : When and What to Expect

Hi slim, I've tried with Xperia arc. I think this function is enabled after 2.3.4 update.

Unfortunately, I don't have any knowledge about N8 silly

Well, for now, we only have one USB port so this means either input or output, if we can use it while charging the phone, this function can be more useful.

Re: Ice Cream Sandwich Treat : When and What to Expect

this is where the LiveDock would be rather useful :-)

http://www.sonyericsson.com/cws/products/accessories/overview/livedock?cc=gb&lc=en#view=overview

doesn't say whether it supports webcams though....but it does allow for charging

and use at the same time

Re: Ice Cream Sandwich Treat : When and What to Expect

mtlevy, thanks a lot! smile happy

Dock just make the phone into a much more portable computer and gaming device, haha!

I hope this support webcam, cause then it would be useful for arc S as well.

Well, for the slim design, arc has given up the front-cam and as well as its twin brother.

Re: Ice Cream Sandwich Treat : When and What to Expect

i know its slim but

8.7 is the least width..top and below end are 10. something wide..

samsung galaxy s2 has the front facing camera with just 8.9 mm width

new google nexus has the front facing camera this too just 8.9mm

so you know what i'm trying to say silly

Re: Ice Cream Sandwich Treat : When and What to Expect

SE should really work harder!

Actually when I got the phone, I thought that the proximity sensor is the front cam laughsilly

Here you go, this is the one I've attached with the phone. (MicroUSB to USB adapter)

It just worked without any driver (only with mouse and keyboard). :smileywink:
