Only Xperia fits? Or I can somehow try it with another Android phone?

Re: How to retrieve application data backed up at Google

I've got new Xperia active, but still have not got my phonebook back.

There is no "backup and restore" app. "Automatic restore" in "Privacy" is on, but nothing happens.

Re: How to retrieve application data backed up at Google

I've installed the "Backup and restore" app. It does not see any backups. angry

It's my fault I did no "normal" backups, but still. If Google have my phonebook why can't I get it back?

Re: How to retrieve application data backed up at Google

if google has your phonebook it should be on your gmail -> contacts -> more (drop down menu) -> export -> select the option that you prefer and done. that's IFF (if and only if) google indeed has your contacts.

Re: How to retrieve application data backed up at Google

Did you mean "Import". It only imports from file and export to file as well.

Reread the first messages please.

I'm not sure if Google has it. However, it appears so.You even agreed that it is possible.

I appreciate your help anyway.

Re: How to retrieve application data backed up at Google

I remember but have you borrowed another android phone so you can try to retrieve your contacts or have you contacted Google?
